Netflix has released the first trailer for its upcoming animated action series for adults Agent ElvisAND Matthew McConaughey provides the voice of this very different version of Elvis Presley.

In the series, “Elvis Presley trades his suit for a jet pack when he is secretly placed into a covert government spy program to fight the dark forces that threaten the country he loves, all while keeping his day job as the King of Rock and roll.
Agent Elvis was created by Priscilla Presley AND John Eddie. Mike Arnold serves as showrunner, headwriter and executive producer alongside Eddie, who serves as co-showrunner and writer. The series will consist of ten episodes and is described as an “irreverent action comedy” following Elvis “as he lives a double life as a secret agent”.
Priscilla previously said in a statement: “Ever since Elvis was a little boy, he has always dreamed of being the superhero who fights crime and saves the world! Agent Elvis allows him to do just that. My co-creator John Eddie and I are so excited to be working with Netflix and Sony Animation on this amazing project and to have the chance to show the world an Elvis they’ve never seen before.”
Vancouver-based Titmouse was the animation studio with Chris Prinoski, Shannon Prinoski, Anthony CanobbioAND Ben Kalin serve as executive producers e Gary Ye as supervising director, Chris Thompson as artistic director e Jose Sanchez as Publisher. Robert Valle created the original character designs and Agent Elvis’ wardrobe was designed by Giovanni Varvatos. Original music and score composed by Tyler Bates AND Timothy Williams.
It looks like a fun series and will be released on Netflix in March 2023!
