Ashley Aufderheide talks about collaborating with Callie Haverda

“When I read about the chemistry with Callie, Greg Mettler, the showrunner, said, ‘Do you two know each other? Do you know each other?’ Because our chemistry was at that moment. It felt like we had been friends for so long, even best friends. So when we met in person, I remember it so clearly. We gave each other the biggest hug because we actually talked a lot about the show, about what we thought was going to happen over the course of the season. And then when we met, it was crazy. We bonded immediately and became friends.”
Ashley Aufderheidi on playing Gwen Runck

“Gwen is very bold. I think she’s a leader and she says she’s the queen of her her group, which is nice. I liked that line. For me, I think I’m an extrovert. I’m pretty confident in myself and I think I learned a little bit about safety from Gwen. Her style is very bold and unique. I’m also trying to improve my style of play.”
Ashley Aufderheide on Gwen’s influence on her

“I feel the scene where you meet her playing in her room is very iconic of her. That was also part of my audition scene. So he definitely stuck with me and is true to my heart. I feel like Gwen is just a symbol of trust. She’s kind of my alter ego.”
Ashley Aufderheide on season 2 hopes

“I think I definitely want to explore Gwen’s bond with Nate a little more, and maybe do a scene with Sherri, Nate and Gwen,” Ashley told HollywoodLife.
