A new behind-the-scenes featurette has been released for the upcoming dark comedy film Cocaine bear. The video features some crazy new footage along with director commentary Elizabeth Banks and some of the cast as they talk about the film’s insane story, involving a cocaine-fueled black bear.
The film is inspired by the bizarre true story of a giant 500-pound American black bear who died from ingesting a ridiculous amount of cocaine after a drug smuggler’s plane crashed. He ingested 70 kilos of cocaine!
The film is the protagonist Keri RussellMargo Martindale, the late Ray Liotta, Alden Ehrenreich, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Kristofer Hivju, Kahyun Kim, Christian Convery, Brooklynn PrinceAND Scott Seiss. This movie will be a blast to watch!
Here is the synopsis:
“Don’t coke the bear.” Inspired by the 1985 true story of a drug trafficker’s plane crash, a missing cocaine and a black bear who ate it. This savage thriller from director Elizabeth Banks finds a strange group of cops, criminals, tourists and teenagers who converge on a Georgia forest where a 500-pound apex predator has just ingested an incredible amount of cocaine and is rampaging on all the coke-fueled rampage for another hit…and blood.
The film was produced by Phil Lord AND Chris Millerand will hit theaters on February 24, 2023.
