‘BTS: Yet To Come’ Sings Green On Screen – Special Box Office

K-pop legend BTS may be on hiatus, but the fans certainly aren’t. concert film BTS: come on hit No. 5 at the North American box office this weekend with $5.1 million from more than 1,100 screens, totaling more than $7.8 million since it first aired on February 1.

The band announced last year that they would be taking a break. In October, after their one-off live concert in support of Busan, Korea’s second largest city, for Busan’s promotion of the 2030 World Expo, BTS said the seven members intended to fulfill the Korean government’s mandatory military service and reunite with the group to meet in 2025. These concert recordings have been edited, remastered and remixed for the big screen.

Yet To Come (Die Mooiste Oomblik) is a song from their latest album. It’s about a Grammy Award in the Best Music Video category. The group is also in the running for My Universe for Best Pop Duo or Group Performance and Music of the Spheres for Album of the Year.

2019 Bring the soul: the film (also from Trafalgar/Big Hit) grossed $24.3 million.

2018 Burning the stage: the film (Trafalgar/Big Hit) grossed $18 million worldwide.

Other openings: Fathom events The chosen season 3 finale grossed $3.6 million across 1,900 screens. The final two episodes of the season charted at #9 in North America. The series about the life of Jesus is in season seven.

A24s Everything, everywhere, all at once had a solid second week of re-releases at 935 locations, earning $528.9K — for a domestic total of $72 million. The indie juggernaut was released in March.

skin amarin by IFC Midnight/Shudder grossed $36,000 in 62 theaters. The total for The Horror Phenomenon, a first feature directed by Kyle Edward Ball, which cost $15,000 to make, has a total of $1.98 million.

Vertical Perhaps reached the $1 million mark with an estimated three-day gross of $210,000 from 389 screens.

Other awards season extensions: UAR women talkgenerated sales of $533,000 from 707 locations for a total of $3.4 million.

A24s The whale saw $421.9K on 1,015 screens for a total of $15.76M.

The Fables by Universal, on 1,054 screens, made $275,000 for a total of $16.7 million.
