‘The Boys’ season 4 reveals Homelander’s possible death in the final chapter

Eric Kriple, the showrunner of the most successful series of Amazon Prime videosrevealed the cover of the script of the last chapter of the fourth season of ‘The boys’, and to the surprise of fans of the series, it reveals what could be the beginning of the end for Homelander. The title hints at a few clues as to what the season finale might be about, and it all points to a tragic fate for the leader of the Seven.

On his Twitter account, the creator of the series, Eric Kripke, has revealed the name of the last episode of the fourth season of “The Boys”. The 4×08 episode of the Amazon Prime Video show will be written by Jessica Chou and David Reed and directed by Kripke himself. The image also confirms that there will be 8 chapters in total, just like the previous three installments.

The last chapter of ‘The Boys’ season 4 will be called ‘Assassination Run’, which could be translated something like “murder rush”, Which suggests that towards the end of the season a massacre could occur, although what is really interesting is to see who will be involved in this moment which aims to be one of the most explosive that has been seen.

Following the reveal, ‘The Boys’ official Twitter account shared an image of the Patrian concerned, which provides clues to a possible death, since, as in the comics, Homelander dies at the hands of Black Noir, and while it hasn’t been said that this will be the series’ final season, it could serve as a tabletop for that.

Homelander’s Tragic Death in ‘The Boys’

Following a White House appeal, Homelander, Butcher and Black Noir meet in the Oval Office, and after a few revelations, the superintendents begin to have a heated argument which ends in an inevitable falling out. Patriot and Night Owl begin to lose more and more control, and that’s when Homelander finally loses the fight against his rival.

Only Homelander’s corpse remains on the ground, and he utters his last words, while Butcher, having seen such a terrible scene, ends Black Noir’s life with a crowbar. While the Amazon Prime Video series has had some impressive moments, this may be one of the most brutal to ever grace the screen.

As of now, ‘The Boys’ Season 4 still does not have a release date, however, it is believed that it could arrive, alongside ‘Gen V’, during the middle of the year. Therefore, it would not be long to know the first official details of what is coming in the new episodes of the series.
