Richard Ayoade made his film directorial debut with ‘Submarine’, an indie romantic comedy based on the book of the same name. Here we meet Oliver, a 15-year-old boy aiming to lose his virginity before his 15th birthday, while trying to reunite his mother with his father.

Though Wes Anderson is a well-known Hollywood director, one of his least remembered films is ‘Rushmore’. It is about Max Fischer, a student of a prestigious academy who falls in love with his teacher, who is also in love with another teacher, with whom he begins a fierce struggle for his love for him. From the same director of the aforementioned ‘School of Rock’ comes ‘Dazed and Confused’ by Richard Linklater.
