Millions of fans of ‘The crown’ are looking forward to the new episodes of this story on Netflix, since the sixth installment of this title has been confirmed for some time, however, Helena Bonham Carter, an actress who participated in this production, believes that this original series from the streaming TV giant should have ended a long time ago.

If you are a fan of ‘The Crown’ you surely remember this Helena Bonham Carter brought Princess Margaret to life on Netflix during seasons 3 and 4 of this production, which are remembered as two of the most successful episodes of this original series of the streaming giant, however, according to the actress, the fifth season of this title no longer reflects the historical drama of the first Episodes.

In a recent interview for The Guardian, Helena Bonham Carter indicates that “The Crown’ no longer a historical dramaeven features a storyline, from its fifth season, that hurts several people today, for this reason, for the British actress, this Netflix original title should have ended sooner.

I don’t think they should continue… it’s very different now than it was then… When The Crown started, it was a historical drama, and now it’s inevitably come to the present, it doesn’t have a story anymore,” comments the actress.

Undoubtedly the Statements made by Helena Bonham Carter will cause controversy among several fans of this series, however, we must not forget that historical productions such as ‘The crownusually go through it as their storyline gets closer to the present, as it shouldn’t be forgotten that this title is inspired by the history of the British royal family, showing from the 1950s with the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, right through to the 1950s. 90 and 2000.
