‘John Wick 4’: Keanu Reeves reveals that it is the film with the most action in the saga and talks about ‘John Wick 5’

On March 24, ‘John Wick 4’ is released in cinemas, the new chapter in the saga with Keanu Reeves in which the actor, dressed in his classic black suit, throws blows left and right. If this franchise is identified for anything, it’s for having great action sequences, something that, according to Reeves, Not only will it stay in the fourth film, but it will be taken to a new level.

In an interview with Total Film (via GamesRadar), Reeves revealed that the fourth installment far surpasses the previous ones in terms of action: “‘John Wick 4’ has The most action of any John Wick movie, which is saying a lot. And that’s a big difference. It’s a great show.” This increased action in the film means that, as Reeves has already explained, his role in this film is the toughest physically he has ever played to date. Among the many trainings Reeves underwent, the actor says he had to improve his driving skills as much as possible for the action scenes in large vehicles: “We take car driving to the next level, which I really like”. Reeves promises many stunts behind the wheel, which he considers the skills “Very funny” of learning.

Part of the reason why ‘John Wick 4’ will be a step forward in action compared to the rest of the saga is because of the signing of Donnie Yen, as well as an actor, a great martial artist: “Yen brings ‘master’ fighting skills. He’s not an actor that you have to train for any specific fight. He’s a great actor who is also a trained fighter. His ability to enhance the choreography through his own creativity is masterful. When you add that to the many years of training Keanu Reeves has put into ‘John Wick’, you end up with something very special.”, explains Scott Rogers, stunt coordinator for “John Wick 4”. Yen plays Caine, an old friend of Wick’s and also a former assassin.

Although the fourth chapter of the saga has not yet come out, which one expands through the spin-offs ‘The Continental’ and ‘Ballerina’, the latter starring Ana de Armas, Reeves already has an answer to a possible fifth installment focusing on his character.
