EXCLUSIVE: Luke Hemsworth (Western world) is typed in for the title role Protecta new action shot by director Dimitri Logothetis (jiu-jitsu, Kickboxer: Revenge).
The movie written by The fast and the furious Writer Gary Scott Thompson follows Special Forces veteran Lee Gunner (Hemsworth) as he takes his two sons on a camping trip, where the boys stumble upon a fentanyl lab and are kidnapped by drug mules. Unfortunately for the drug mules, Lee will stop at nothing to get his boys back safely. Taking on not only the criminal cartel, but also the FBI and local police, he uses all his deadly skills to reunite his family.
Joel Shapiro (Murderer) Rocket Fuel will produce alongside Logothetis, magiCity Studios and Acme.
Hemsworth played Ashley Stubbs, Westworld’s chief of security, in all four seasons of HBO’s sci-fi drama. Western world and returned for a cameo last summer Thor: Love and Thunderfirst introduced in 2017 in the MCU part by the actor Thor Thor: Ragnarok. The actor recently starred alongside Kurt Russell, Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser in the crime thriller cryptocurrencywho is also directing the horror thriller death of me with Maggie Q and most recently the completed production of the thriller Bad men with Thomas Jane and Tyrese Gibson.
Logothetis has the kickboxer Action franchise with the movies Kickboxer: Revenge and Kickboxer: Revenge – Co-writing and producing the former, as well as directing the latter. He also recently wrote, directed and produced the sci-fi thriller jiu-jitsustarring Nicolas Cage and serving as president of Acme Rocket Fuel and Kings Road Entertainment.
