While we all wait John Wick: Chapter 4 to be released, we have new photos to share with you and some great new information regarding the action. Second Keanu Reeves, the next film will have more action than all the films in the series, which is pretty exciting! But you know what’s even more exciting? That action will include a weird “Car-Fu” action sequence that I can’t wait to see! Speaking to Total Film, Reeves said:

Mark Hamill and his Return of the Jedi helix lightsaber reunite in Pop Culture Quest Clip
“John Wick: Chapter 4 has more action than any other [John Wick] movie, which says a lot. And that’s more than a good margin. It’s a great show.
The actor went on to say that this upcoming film is the hardest physical role he has ever taken part in, and he required stunt driving skills for an action scene from “Car-Fu”:
“John Wick: Chapter 4 was the hardest physical role I’ve ever had in my career so far. They really trained me to be able to have what we call the toolbox. We took car driving to the next level. I really enjoy it. There’s 180, 180 back-forward, 270 back-forward, drifting… So it’s been really fun to have a chance to learn those skills and play.”
Damn, looks like it’s going to be fun to watch! I’m excited to see how these action scenes play out. But there’s more! Donnie Yen is in the film as a new character named Caine, and he brings “next-level fighting skills” to the film. According to stunt coordinator and second unit director Scott Rogers:
“He’s not an actor that you have to train for any specific fight. He is a great actor who is also a trained fighter. His ability to enhance the choreography through his own creativity is world class. When you add that to the many years of John Wick training Keanu Reeves has invested, you end up with something very special.”
So, get ready to be amazed! The action in this film will be a sight to behold! Reeves says, “John Wick: Chapter 4 is our work. Oh my God, he’s crazy, man! It’s banana cakes!”
John Wick: Chapter 4 is led by Chad Stahelski, and the cast also includes Hiroyuki Sanada, Rina Sawayama, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Clancy Brown, Ian McShane, And Bill Skarsgard as the sinister main villain.
The film is currently scheduled to hit theaters on May 27, 2023. I’ve also included a few new photos below.
