Ayo Edebiriwho recently broke into the fantastic FX series The bearjoined the cast of the Marvel film Lightning. He joins previously announced co-stars David Port as Red Guardian, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, Julie Louis-Dreyfus as Countess Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Wyatt Russell as an agent of the United States, Hannah John Kamen like ghost, Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster and of course Florence Pug as Yelena Belova. Harrison Ford he also takes on the role of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross.

Jake Schreier is set as director of the new Marvel tentpole. Black Widow scribe Eric Pearson is writing the script, with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige producing. Not much is known about the plot of the film, but in the comics, it revolves around a group of bad guys who are sent on government-mandated missions.
Edebiri is a great actress and I am happy to see her participate in this film! Lightning will be released in theaters on July 26, 2024.
