- Coldplay are a British rock band.
- They have been nominated for 34 Grammy Awards.
- The band is competing for three awards in 2023.
From the moment the band’s song “Yellow” hit in the summer of 2000, the rock world was ready to cold game. Although the band – Chris Martin, Johnny Buckland, Guy Berryman, champion of the Will, Y Phil Harvey – Transitioned from their post-grunge alternative country sounds to more pop music, the group remains a celebrated band that helped shape rock music for decades to come. And that impact can be seen in the group’s record at the Grammy Awards.
While the band’s “wins to nominations” ratio is a bit off, a total of 7 wins with 34 nominations, they’ve managed to take home some major accolades. They’re also set to up that number when they head to the 65th annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 5. Before that happens, let’s find out how many Grammy Awards they’ve won, what they’ve been nominated for, and more.

Will Coldplay perform?
Coldplay were not announced on the first Grammy artist list. Also, with Jin Of the BTS currently doing their mandatory military service in South Korea, the chance of Coldplay performing their “My Universe” candidate with K-Pop superstars is very, very slim.
What is Coldplay’s future?
The band is on tour. In March, Coldplay go on a series of concerts to Brazil. In May they head to Europe for a tour that will keep them abroad until the end of July. The group returns to North America in September, culminating in a performance at the 2023 Rose Bowl.
