Pamela Anderson names one person who she says treated her with “complete respect.”

During an interview with the Times of London, Anderson was asked about life and career and shared the name of the only man she says is the only person she has ever treated with “complete and utter respect.”

“Hugh Hefner,” she told the paper.

Elsewhere in the interview, Anderson also talked about shooting her first Playboy cover, which she says boosted her confidence.

“I was terribly shy and I hated that feeling. That’s why I did it. I just didn’t want that feeling anymore,” she said of her decision to work with Playboy. “That first photo shoot gave me a glimpse of what it feels like to be a sensual woman. My sexuality was mine. I regained my strength.”

Pamela, a love story is the first time Anderson has given a comprehensive overview of her screen career. Last year, Hulu released the limited series pam and tommybased on the aftermath of her sex tape leak with Mötley Crüe musician Tommy Lee.

Anderson has long been critical of the series, especially its creators, who she says did not consult her about the series. During an interview with Variety earlier this week, Anderson described the creators as “bastards.”

“You still owe me a public apology,” she said.

Later, speaking to Howard Stern, Anderson said she felt “run over” after hearing about the show.

“I remember seeing this ad before pam and tommy and was like what? Nobody called me. I’m still alive Nobody asked me. It has nothing to do with me,” she told Stern.

“I felt a little overwhelmed by this one. I don’t think they portrayed Tommy or me very accurately. I haven’t seen it, but I’ve heard from people that it’s a very shallow representation of us. I wish they had called.”
