Feroz Awards 2023: Complete list of winners with the draw of “As bestas” and “Cinco lobitos”

The Feroz 2023 Awards celebrated ten years of celebrating the best of our cinema and series this Saturday at the Zaragoza Auditorium, in a particularly powerful year, with unforgettable films and series in which female talent has accumulated great recognition, especially in independent productions. The gala presented by journalists Mariona Borrull and David Martos was broadcast on YouTube.

‘As bestas’, Sorogoyen’s Franco-Spanish film which amassed ten nominations, and ‘La ruta’, the ATRESplayer Premium series nominated for six awards, started as favorites but in the end the evening ended with the four most important titles of this season by tying three statuettes: “As bestas”, “Cinco lobitos”, “La ruta” and “I don’t like to drive”these series were awarded as the best of the year.

In the new category for Best Writing for a Series, Borja Soler, Roberto Martín Maiztegui, Clara Botas and Silvia Herreros de Tejada emerged winners for ‘La ruta’television drama that competed with massive titles such as ‘Blackout’, ‘Self-defense’, ‘Easy’, ‘Intimacy’.

Julieta Serrano, Rossy de Palma, Bibiana Fernández, Aitana Sánchez-Gijón, Leonor Watling and Milena Smit awarded Pedro Almodóvar the fierce fourth of his career, this time in honor of his entire career. As they stated when they announced that the director of La Mancha would receive the Feroz de Honor, “Pedro Almodóvar is universal because he is fierce”and the organizing committee recognizes this “Not only did he create a style, a way of seeing life and even an (Almodovarian) adjective for the Spanish language and its corresponding translations in all languages, but he sought to renew himself at every step”.
