REBEL MOON star says film is ‘beautiful’ and ‘epic’, talks collaboration with Zack Snyder

There is a lot of hype around Zack Snyderthe upcoming sci-fi action movie rebel moon. This film was born out of a Star Wars story he pitched to Lucasfilm but they didn’t pick up, so this film is our opportunity to see what Snyder would have done in the Star Wars universe, but it is not a Star Wars movie. He has repurposed it and is looking to launch his own franchise with it.

rebel moon star Cleopatra Colemann (Stupid And Infinity pool) recently spoke to Collider about the film, and while he couldn’t say much, he said the upcoming sci-fi film is beautiful and epic, and also revealed what it was like working with director Zack Snyder. She said:

“There’s really not much I can say, but I will say that Zack is another director who really likes what he does. He comes at it with such enthusiasm, he drives the camera, he’s in the trenches with everyone, and it’s an amazing world that he created. I think people are going to really love the action. The actors worked really hard on the stunts and it’s going to look really good. It’s going to be epic. That’s all I can really say. I can’t give it away.”

I can’t wait to see how it turns out! The story is set in a “peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy that finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius. They send a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from nearby planets to help them make a stand against the Tyrant.

Snyder previously spoke about the project saying, “This is me growing up like Akira Kurosawa fan, a Star Wars fan. It’s my love of sci-fi and a giant adventure. My hope is that this too becomes a huge IP and a universe that can be built.”

The film is also the protagonist Sophia Botella, Charlie Hunnam, Doona Bae, Djimon Hounsou, Ray Fisher, Jena Malone, Friend Rupert, Stuart Martin, Cary Elwes, Corey Stoll, Michiel Huismann, Anthony Hopkins, And Alfonso Herrera.
