Amazon Prime Video is all about action in general and Tom Clancy adaptations in particular. After the success of ‘Jack Ryan’, starring John Krasinski, the aforementioned platform has opted to make room for another of the aforementioned author’s most popular characters: John Clark.
In “No Regrets,” Michael B. Jordan plays the United States Marine officer who seeks revenge on the Russian assassins who killed his wife. Now its sequel, ‘Rainbow Six’ pledges to raise the bar by signing ‘John Wick’ director Chad Stahelski.
The Hollywood Reporter tells it exclusively, assuring that the film being prepared by Paramount has Elizabeth Raposo (‘Creed III’) and Akiva Goldsman (‘Constantine’, ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’ and ‘Star Trek: Picard’) among its producers. The plans for that studio they would continue to release ‘Rainbow Six’ in theaters, but they tried the same thing with ‘No Regrets’, a film that ended up being released directly to Prime Video.
After “No Regrets” is Clark’s origin story, Jordan will reprise the Navy SEAL turned CIA agent, character introduced in the Jack Ryan books who later led his own adventures and has even inspired a number of video games. That first movie with Jordan occurred during the pandemican exceptional and ever-changing situation for cinemas that ended up causing the premiere on Prime Video.

After ‘No Regrets’, directed by Stefano Sollima (‘Sicario: Day of the Soldado’), Chad Stahelski will lead the sequel, ‘Rainbow Six’. Stahelski, an expert on the genre, will take the reins on Clark’s next mission after choreographing some of the best action scenes on the big screen and making the leap to directing hand in the ‘John Wick’ saga, got behind the cameras on its first three episodes and ‘John Wick 4’, which is set to be released on March 24th. In addition, this director has other projects in development, such as a new version of “The Immortals” with Henry Cavill.
