Academy Award Winning Actress Meryl Streep has joined the cast of Hulu’s hit series, Only homicides in the building. The series is the protagonist Steve Martin, Martin ShortAnd Selena Gomez as detective neighbors, solving murders that happen in their New York building. In a Tweet this week, Gomez posted a behind-the-scenes video showing her with her co-stars Martin, Short, and the previously announced Season 3 newcomer, Paul Rudd.
Then we see Streep popping up behind them to make sure her guests, aka her new castmates, are comfortable with pillows and tea. Gomez then grimaces at the camera, indicating her disbelief that the great Meryl Streep has joined their cast!
Hulu would only confirm the news but would not provide further information on Streep’s character.
Season 3 was ordered in July and is currently filming, so hopefully we’ll see something teasing Season 3 of the series soon.
