Morgan Freeman is the latest major actor to join the cast of Taylor Sheridanthe upcoming Paramount+ series of Lioness.
The series is based on a real CIA program and the story follows “Cruz Manuelos (Laysla DeOliveira), an edgy but passionate young Marine recruited to join the CIA’s Lioness Engagement Team to help bring down a terrorist organization from within.
Freeman will play the role of Edwin Mullins, the US Secretary of State in the show. He is joined by the already cast Zoe Saldana, Nicole Kidman, Jill Wagner, Dave Annable, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hebert, Hannah Love Lanier, Stephanie NurAnd Jonah Warton.
Freeman is a Hollywood legend and an incredible actor. It’s great to see him land a role in a Taylor Sheridan project.
