Mark Hamill and his Return of the Jedi helix lightsaber reunite in Pop Culture Quest Clip
The film was directed by Tyler Atkins and is the protagonist Luke Hemsworth, Isabel Lucas, Leanna WalsmanAnd King Ramsus. Here is the synopsis:
Set in the late 1980s, Ocean Boy is told through the eyes of 13-year-old Rockit. While trying to figure out why his mother doesn’t come home, Rockit embarks on a magical vacation with his father, Bosch, only to discover they’re actually on the run from the law.
Rockit finds a soul mate and then teenage love with Ash Ash, but it’s the ocean that gives him the security and calm he craves from his parents. Ultimately Rockit is a boy held by nature, a young man who wins our hearts and our respect as his story unfolds.
Shot in iconic Byron Bay, against the backdrop of Australia’s famous surf beaches and rainforests, Ocean Boy is a gritty and unapologetic exploration of unconscious parenthood and the deeper themes of love and relationships.
Sounds like a movie I’d like to watch. I love these little indie films that attempt to touch the human soul and inspire. Ocean Boy will be released on February 3, 2023.
