Chris Hemsworth has recently discovered that he is prone to Alzheimer’s, due to a family tendency. And although it’s still many years before we know if he really could suffer from this degenerative disease, his wife Elsa Pataky surprised the Thor actor in the Avengers with a nice gesture to face the fear of old age.

During episode 6 of the Disney+ series “Limitless”, Elsa Pataky surprised Chris Hemsworth with a beautiful gesture, in which the actress disguised herself as an adult to help her husband what he would be like if he reached old age, and that he cannot see or remember her due to her condition. The act started going viral on the networks, where their followers commented on both of them recent posts.

The gesture of Elsa Pataky must help Chris Hemsworth’s Alzheimer’s, which he discovered just a few weeks ago, from a study that revealed his genetic predisposition to the disease. The Thor actor said that one of his greatest fears was not being able to remember what happened with his wife and her children, and for this reason this emotional action on the part of his wife.

The Chris Hemsworth’s wife wanted to show him what it would be like to grow old together, in case he couldn’t do it anymore somehow. “It is a moment we will always remember. It was so deep, so unexpected, I felt safe, it was so beautiful. I want to live those years with you, we need those memories,” the actress said.

Chris Hemwsworth may not continue as Thor

Last November, after discovering he could eventually lose his memory, Chris Hemsworth said he’s temporarily leaving the cinema, in an interview for Vanity Fair. Disney asked to hide the possibility of the series, however, the actor said it was a good time to warn, ask people to take care of themselves and appreciate those important moments in everyone’s life.

While there’s just the possibility, Chris Hemsworth wants to make the most of his time with his family — it’s really triggered something in me to want to take time out […] I completed the things I had already contracted. So the possibility arose of never seeing him as Thor again in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Though the actor clarifies that “it’s not like I’ve resigned,” some of his bigger roles will be taking a break until he sees them again. The important thing now is that Chris Hemsworth’s health is at its best until he brings the god Thor back to life in Marvel.
