Apple TV+ has released the trailer for the upcoming psychological thriller Sharperwhat stars Julianne Moore, Sebastian Stan, John Lithgow, Justice Smithand newcomer Briana Middleton. The film is a dark and twisted drama of immoral characters making their way into money and power.
The story follows con artists who “go after a wealthy family with the perfect plan to drain them of their funds.” Along the way, “love, heartbreak and jealousy make their way into the grand plan” and “it’s unclear whether the criminals are conning or those being conned.”
In the film, “Nobody is what they seem in Sharper, a neo-noir thriller of secrets and lies, set among the bedrooms, bars and meeting rooms of New York City. The characters compete for wealth and power in a high-stakes game of ambition, greed, lust and jealousy that will keep audiences on their toes until the very last moment.”
Sharper was directed by Benjamin Caroniwho directed three episodes of Lucasfilm’s Disney+ series Andor. The screenplay was written by Brian Gatewood And Alessandro Tanakawhich entered the 2020 Black List of the best unproduced screenplays.
Sharper will be released in select theaters on February 10, 2023, before debuting on Apple TV+ on Friday, February 17, 2023.
