Through a post on Twitter, Warner Bros. Discovery has confirmed the return of the Latino actors from ‘The Last of Us’ to the series: “A true fan recognizes the voice of his favorite characters. The voice actors of Joel, Ellie, Tess, Tommy, Marlene and Bill in #TheLastOfUs will be the same as in the games!” HBO wrote in the statement. .

The new characters of ‘The Last of Us’
But in addition to hearing the voices of the original video game again, in the HBO adaptation of “The Last of Us” there will be more characters joining the adventure. A bigger example is Ellie’s mother, who doesn’t appear in Naughty Dog’s work, but who will be a major part of the 14-year-old girl’s storyline here.
Another of the new faces that will appear in the series is that of Murray Bartlett, who will give life to Frank, the partner of Bill (Nick Offerman), and who appears already dead in the video game. Other interesting additions will be the appearance of Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson, the same actors of Joel and Ellie in the video game, as well as the appearance of Storm Reid, who will play Riley.
Now yes, everything is ready for the arrival of the series of ‘The Last of Us’ on January 15th via HBO Max. And it will be enjoyed by fans of video games, to those who know nothing of this adventure of a father and a decadent world on the verge of extinction.
