HARLEY QUINN AND THE JOKER podcast gets trailer and premiere date

Spotify has released the trailer for the upcoming DC and Warner Bros podcast series Harley Quinn and the Joker: sane mind. They also announced that the podcast will premiere on January 31, 2023, with all episodes.

Christina Ricci she stars in the series as Harley Quinn, which is such a great casting! She is joined by Billy Magnussenwho will assume the role of The Joker and Justin Hartley (This is us) plays Bruce Wayne/Batman. The podcast tells a new origin story from Harley Quinn’s point of view.

In the Harley Quinn and the Joker, when we meet Dr. Harleen Quinzel, “she’s fresh out of university, a new psychologist at Arkham Asylum determined to help patients her colleagues have written off. But her father is ill and needs an expensive life-saving surgery that he can’t afford. Pushed to breaking point, Harleen is tired of playing by the rules. So when she meets “Patient J,” a magnetic inmate capable of manipulating everyone but her, Harleen makes a fateful decision: to use her relationship with the Joker to get what she wants, setting them both down a dangerous path that will change. , Bruce Wayne — and Gotham City — forever.

The seven-episode series was written and directed by Eli Horowitz (Homecoming), and is the second project set in the DC universe to be released thanks to Spotify’s partnership with DC and Warner Bros. after the successful podcast Unburied Batman.
