Damson Idris (born 2 September 1991) is a British actor. He is best known for his work on the FX drama “Snowfall,” a series detailing the effects of the crack cocaine epidemic in the United States in the early 1980s. Damson plays Franklin Saint, a drug dealer who goes up and down the the situation. .- and the role introduced American audiences to this budding talent. Coming from a Nigerian immigrant family, where Damson was the youngest of six children, he grew up expecting to be a soccer star but decided to focus on acting at the urging of one of his sisters. The gamble paid off. He studied acting at Brunel University, majoring in theater. He trained at the London School of Acting and soon experienced his first taste of success. He landed a role in ‘Pandora’s Box’, a comedy that led to more work… and finally, he landed the role in ‘Snowfall’.

While “Snowfall” ended in 2023, Damson’s star has continued to grow. Here’s a look.
