This is supposed to be a spin-off of Teenage wolf series, but this show looks so much better than that. The series comes from the writer and executive producer Jeff Davis (Teenage wolf), and is based on Edo Van Belkomthe book series of.
The story “follows a teenage boy and girl whose lives are changed forever when a wildfire in California awakens a terrifying supernatural creature. Wounded in the chaos of his attack, the boys are inexplicably attracted to each other and to two others who were adopted sixteen years ago by a park ranger after another mysterious fire. As the full moon rises, all four teenagers unite to reveal the secret that unites them: the bite and blood of a werewolf.
Gellar plays arson investigator Kristin Ramsey, described as “a highly regarded expert in her field and no stranger to personal loss, brought in by authorities to catch the teenage arsonist who started a huge fire that may also have led to the awakening of a supernatural predator terrorizing Los Angeles.
The series is also starring Rodrigo Santoro (Lost) as Garrett Briggs, “a Los Angeles park ranger dedicated to protecting the environment and adoptive father of extraordinary teenagers. A man of strong values, he’s also someone with dark secrets and deep suspicions, especially of anyone who questions his relationship with his children who were found in the fire years ago.
The other main characters are played by ArmaniJackson (Chad) like Everett, Beautiful Shepard (The savages) like Blake, Chloe Rose Robertson such as moon, e Tyler Lawrence Grey like Harlan.
The rest of the cast includes Bailey Stender (iCarly), Go after Liefeld (Chang can dunk), Hollie Bahar (Western world), Lanny Jon (Child driver), Rio Mangini (Everything sucks), Stella Smith (Stargirl), Zack Nelson (Loot) e James Martinez (With love, Victor). Other guest stars will include Amy Pietz (Carolina in the city), Bria Brimmer (Destiny Patrol), John L. Adams (The Dead Zone) And Sean Philip Glasgow (Diary of a future president).
It was also announced that the series will premiere on Paramount+ on Thursday, January 26, which is the same day as Teen Wolf: The Movie.
