James Wan from Atomic Monster and Jason Blum of Blumhouse have announced a new supernatural thriller film project they are producing titled Night swim. They are currently enjoying the success of last weekend’s M3GAN, but are ready to go for the next one!
Night Swim will be the protagonist Wyatt Russell (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) And Kerry Condon (The Banshees of Inisherin), and will be written and directed by Bryce McGuire.
The film is based on the short film created by McGuire and Rod Blackhurst. The story “is built around the hidden source of terror found in an iconic backyard swimming pool.” The brief description of the short reads: “A woman swims in a pool at night. But something is watching her.
There aren’t many more details to share regarding the feature film, but you can watch the short film it’s based on below! The shooting of the film will begin on January 19, 2024.
