We have a new photo from Yellow jackets Season 2 must try thanks to Vulture and features our first look Elijah Wood in the role of Walter with Christina Ricci as Misty. We don’t know what’s actually happening in the photo, but it looks like they’re observing something interesting.
When it comes to Wood joining the series showrunners, Ashley Lyle, Bart NickersonAnd Jonathan Lisco shared:
“When Elijah agreed to come play on the Yellowjackets team, our minds blew. We’ve been fans of his for years (in some of our cases, since middle school!) and are pleased to report that his incredible talent is matched only by his kindness, warmth and enthusiasm for his work. We absolutely cannot wait for the world to get to know Walter.”
The report goes on to reveal that Walter’s character is “a new city detective who isn’t represented by a younger self on the show, which means he really could be up to anything, and on this show he’s both exciting and troubling.” “. Speaking previously about working with Wood, Ricci shared:
“It’s really fun; it’s exciting. After our first season, people loved the show, so they’re excited to be there and it’s been really fun. Most of my scenes, not to spoil anything, but a lot of this season they’ve been with Elijah Wood and it’s wonderful to work with him again. We had a great time.”
Yellow jackets was created by Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson (narcos). The series follows a talented high school girls soccer team who survive a plane crash in the remote northern wilderness. The story “tells their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracing the lives they attempted to rebuild nearly 25 years later, proving that the past was never really the past and what began in the desert is all nothing but finished.”
The series is also starring Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Ella Purnell, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher, Sammi Hanratty, Steven Krueger, Warren KoleAnd Juliet Lewis. Other newcomers include Lauren Ambrose like the adult version of Van, whose photos you can see here, and Simone Kesselwho will play an adult Lottie. Jason Ritter he too joined the cast.
