A24 has released the first trailer for the incredibly unique film Beau is scaredfrom which it derives Ari Asterthe director of hardcore horror films Hereditary And Mid summer. His next film has horror elements, but also feels like a crazy adventure movie fueled by an epic nightmare.

The film is the protagonist Joaquin Fenice, and the story follows his character through multiple decades and, in the process, he seems to start losing his mind. The synopsis reads: “A paranoid man embarks on an epic odyssey to get home to his mother in this bold and ingeniously depraved new film.”
