Netflix has released a trailer for the upcoming sports documentary series Breaking point, which focuses on the next generation of tennis superstars on the rise. I’m not the biggest fan of tennis, but I love stories about sports and athletes and it’s fascinating to me to see what these talented and completely dedicated people go through to achieve greatness. They face a lot of pressure, and the competitiveness can get extremely intense!

Break Point follows “a select group of top tennis players on and off the court as they compete in grueling Grand Slam tournaments around the world. Their dream: to raise a trophy and become number one. As some of tennis’ legends reach the sunset of their careers, this is the chance for a new generation to reclaim the spotlight. Break Point is up close and personal with these players for over a year competing all over the world on the ATP and WTA tours. From career-threatening injuries and emotional heartbreak, to triumphant victories and personal moments off the court, viewers will get a behind-the-scenes look at the strained lives of some of the best tennis players in the world.

Players featured in the document include Felix Auger-Aliassime, Casper Ruud, Matthew Berrettini, On Jabeur, Thanasi Kokkinakis, Nick Kyrgios, Aryna Sabalenka, Maria Saccari, Ajla Tomljanovic, Sloane StephensAnd Stephen Tsitsipas.

The series comes from Paul Martin (Make us dream, Diego Maradona) And James Gay-Rees (Love, Senna) also known for their recently popular F1 documentary series, Formula 1: drive to survive. They are the executive producers of the series and also serve as showrunner.

“After a golden era of greatness, the next generation of tennis is ready to take over.” Break Point will be released on Netflix on January 13, 2023, with more episodes arriving in June 2023 next summer.
