He became a cultural icon, a fashion entity, a provocateur who celebrated punk, new wave, avant-garde art-rock and just about everything in between.
When he married his first wife, Maria BarnetBowie became a father for the first time, welcoming his son Duncan Jones in 1971. In 1992, Bowie married the model Magnet. They took in a daughter lexiconin 2000. Their love lasted until his death in 2016.
