The great news just dropped it Tim Burton And Jenna Ortega’S Wednesday has been officially renewed for a second season by Netflix! It’s really not surprising given that the first season was a huge hit with viewers! I loved the show. It was one of my favorites of 2022 and I am so happy and excited that we will see the story continue!

The series tells the twisted comedic coming-of-age story about “a supernatural, investigative mystery chronicling Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery involving her parents 25 years ago, all while navigating her tangled new relationships in Nevermore .

The show was created by Smallville creators Al Gough And Miles Millar, who did a great job developing the show with Burton! Hopefully Burton will return to direct season 2!

Ortega is joined in the series by Louis Guzmanwho plays Gomez Addams, and Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, as well as Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White, Joy Sunday, Emma Myers, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Georgia Farmer, Naomi Ogawa And Musa Mostafa.

When teasing Season 2 earlier, Millar said Wednesday’s family, which also includes Morticia and Gomez, may be in more. She said, “We felt like we just touched the surface with those characters and the actors are so amazing in those roles. Catherine is, I believe, an iconic Morticia. The relationship between Wednesday and Morticia is also essential to the show, and the idea that Wednesday is trying to forge her own path outside of the family is an important one.

What do you hope to see in season 2 of Wednesday?
