Almost 40 years have passed since the 1984 slasher film, The Mutilatorwas released and now we are getting a sequel titled The Mutilator 2and the trailer for the film was recently shared by Fangoria.

The director of the original film, Friend Cooper, returned to write and direct the sequel, and also brings back the actors from the original film. The film will get half way as a new wave of killings begins as filming begins on a remake of the original film.
The film is the protagonist Terry Kiser (Friday the 13th Part VII, Weekend at Bernies) And Damiano Maffei (Strangers: prey at night, In party) star alongside Ruth Martinez and Bill Hitchcock from the original. Chaney Tomorrow (Wrong turn) And Eve Hamilton (Ruin me) will also star.
Alexander Taylor (Scream, queen! My Nightmare on Elm Street, Loneliness, Unknown dimension: the history of paranormal activity, Arkansas) has signed on to score the upcoming sequel and said in a statement:
“I am so honored and excited to be a part of The Mutilator franchise. One of the best parts of this is the fact that Buddy Cooper is back! It’s rare for a legacy film to have the original writer and director return, so you know it’s going to be special. Buddy and I already have some great themes and wacky soundtrack ideas.
