Nicole Kidman is meant to act Taylor SheridanParamount+’s upcoming drama series CIA Lioness. She was already a producer on the project, so it’s no surprise to hear that she’s come on board to star in it.

The series is based on a real CIA program and the story follows “Cruz Manuelos (Laysla DeOliveira), an edgy but passionate young Marine recruited to join the CIA’s Lioness Engagement Team to help bring down a terrorist organization from within.

Kidman will play the role of Kaitlyn Meade, described as “the senior supervisor of the CIA who has had a long career in politics. She must navigate the trappings of being a woman in the high-ranking intelligence community, a wife who craves the attention she can’t even give herself, and a mentor to someone who veers suspiciously close to the same rocky road she she found herself.

Kidman and De Oliveira have been linked in the series since Zoe Saldana, Jill Wagner, Dave Annable, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hebert, Hannah Love Lanier, Stephanie Nurand Jonah Warton.

Sheridan is a great storyteller and I can’t wait to see how his next project turns out!
