Trailer of the action film inspired by the video game Lost by Roger Corman and Mark Hamill VIRTUALLY HEROES

Ten years ago, in 2013, producer Roger CormanThe action film inspired by video games Basically Heroes premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Despite its premiere, it was never released until last year by Screen Media and now they’re looking to finally release the film as a way to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Today we have a trailer to share with you that gives you an idea of ​​what to expect from this crazy movie! It’s been a long time since I’ve seen it, but this trailer sure brings back the memories! I remember liking the ridiculousness of the film!

The film was directed by GJ Echternkamp (Frank and Cindy, The car: Road to Revenge), and recites Robert Baker (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Out of Time), Brent Chase (Shameless, I am the night), Katia Savoy (how I Met Your Mother, NCIS: New Orleans)
and Mark Hammill (Star Wars).

In the film, “Two self-aware characters in a Call of Duty-inspired video game battle endless enemies and their own existential crises when Sgt. Books seeks help from an outspoken monk (Hamill) who teaches him the tricks of life. Now he can finally break free from the game’s endless battles, take a break from rescuing girls at the end of each level, and convince his fellow warrior Lt. Nova that not everything in this game world is as cool as it seems.

Screen Media will release the film digitally on January 17, 2023. Enjoy the trailer!
