The Arrowverse’s last great stronghold is about to say goodbye forever. Grant Gustin says goodbye as Barry Allen on ‘The Flash’ Season 9, set to air on The CW in February. But it will do very well accompanied.

This was announced by the team of the series Stephen Amell will return to the Arrowverse which began in 2012. He will do so by reprising his role of Oliver Queen, Green Arrow. We will see it in an episode that the executive producer of the series, Eric Wallace, describes as “epic and exciting” where there will be “chills, chills and tears”and this will serve as a thank you to the fans who have been loyal to Barry and the entire saga of interconnected DC series.

Fans will be able to see Stephen Amell return as the Green Arrow in the ninth episode of the ninth season, and he won’t be the only character to return. It had already been confirmed that Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale), Spartan (David Ramsey) and Bloodwork (Sendhil Ramamurthy) will also appear in the chapter to be directed by actress Danielle Panabaker (Killer Frost).
Even if the Arrowverse will remain alive (for now) with ‘Superman & Lois’, The CW wants the ninth season of ‘The Flash’ to be the big farewell to the saga. In addition to the intense Chapter 9, Javicia Leslie (“Batwoman”) and Nicole Maines (“Supergirl”) will also be dropped for the final season. Who knows what other surprises will await us in the ‘last run’ of ‘The Flash’.
The first episode of the season of ‘The Flash’ will air in the United States on February 8th. In Spain we do not yet know the release date but we can see the previous eight seasons on HBO Max.
