Netflix has released the trailer for the second season of their hit drama John and Georgia. The trailer was released a few weeks ago, but with the holidays it got lost in the shuffle, and as a fan of the show, I didn’t even know it was coming back so soon! So this was a fun surprise.
The first season of the series saw the titular mother and daughter as they moved (again) across the country to make a fresh start following the death of the most recent stepfather in their lives. As they settle into the new town, things start to look up, but as soon as they do, they start to fall apart again.
Season 2 picks up with Ginny (Antonia Gentri) having to figure out how to live with the knowledge that her mother is a murderer. Weighed down by the new knowledge that her stepfather, Kenny, didn’t die of natural causes, Ginny now has to deal with the fact that Georgia (Brianne Hoey) not only killed, but did it to protect Ginny.
