‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ was a big hit on the bill but fans are already wanting to see it from home. Disney + has finally unveiled the official release date on its platform, which does not coincide with the one that was rumored. The Hollywood Handle started a rumor that the sequel to ‘Black Panther’ would hit the platform on January 20, but we can now confirm that it will be later.

According to the comic, Disney + has shown very discreetly when the film will actually arrive in its catalog: February 1st, a week and a half later than rumored. This is known because the page itself points it out when searching for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” on the streaming service.
However, on the Spanish platform there is still no date set, but the movie page announces “imminent release on Disney+”. Therefore, it seems that its date in our country is yet to be decided and may not coincide with the official date, and may even be delayed.
And the third for when?
“That’s a great question”Nate Moore, a producer at Marvel Studios, tells Collider. “I’m serious, it’s not like I’m trying not to answer the question”. Despite the success of ‘Wakanda Forever’, which ranks as the sixth highest-grossing film of 2022 with more than 800 million raised, there is still no word on whether it will have a sequel. Moore says both he and the director, Ryan Coogler, want to see how audiences receive the film before jumping into anything. “We don’t want it to be like the milkmaid story, because you never know what’s going to happen”. In addition to being cautious, he admits: “We certainly have some ideas floating around about what a third film could look like if we get it done”.
For his part, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige defends that, whatever it is, it’s not the end of the story: “This mythology, this dress and these characters deserve to continue and will continue after we are all gone.; I hope, and they will live on forever in the movies as they have in comics for over 50 years.”.
