Leslie Grace Reveals ‘Batgirl’ Costume From Canceled HBO Max Film

Leslie Grace gives us a look at the Batgirl costume that could be. In a throwback to the year-end video posted on Instagram, Grace, who would have starred in the HBO Max movie, shared some behind-the-scenes photos and clips during filming bat girl, which was permanently acquired by Warner Bros. earlier this year. and DC movies. The video shows Grace in costume in her trailer. The use of yellow in the costume is reminiscent of the Batman suit worn by Michael Keaton in 1989 Batman movie and sequel Batman returns. Keaton would reprise his role bat girl

The film, which will also star Brendan Fraser, will be filmed in 2023. As Deadline previously reported, the exact reason for the delay was not made clear, but according to sources, it did not fit with the new strategy being implemented. by DC Films and HBO Max. The studio is looking for theatrical tentpoles with budgets in excess of $90 million, and early footage has shown it doesn’t fit this model. (bat girl was greenlit for a $70 million budget.)
