Wonder Iron fist the series is definitely considered the worst of the Netflix series. There were so many problems with it and it all started Finn Jones, which many fans feel was wrong. Problems also fell on the story, script and lackluster martial arts fight sequences.

Jones shared his thoughts on why he thinks the series was ultimately a failure, telling Geekscape in an interview:
“I think, really, the first season, there were a lot of creative challenges, and it didn’t live up to expectations, and I think it was down to… really, it was scheduling conflicts. That season of television was was rushed because we had The Defenders that we had to film right after We had to film The Defenders, we had all the other actors stuck in that schedule, so we had to film those 13 episodes of television in that set time, and unfortunately, we just didn’t have the time to do what was expected and what was desired, which was an amazing and incredible kung-fu and martial arts show. And the reason the show failed was because of time constraints, because of bad programming.”
I can definitely see that as a problem. You can see that the series was rushed during production due to how messy it was. The second season of the series didn’t fare better, but Jones thought it was and then Disney and Marvel closed the deal with Netflix:
“Season 2, we really figured out what the flaws were and worked hard to correct the course of the show. And in my opinion, we did. We did a fantastic job getting the show back to code. Unfortunately, only a month after that show had premiered, all the shows were canceled because Disney wanted to make their own series, wanted to do their own thing on their own platform, which is understandable. But it was unfortunate that, just as we were out of the gate, ready to go racing, we were just yanked.”
Maybe someday Marvel will decide to play Iron Fist again, but if they do, I guess they’ll reframe it and do something drastically different. The best character to come out of the Iron Fist series was Jessica Henwick’s Colleen Wing, I would have loved to see more of her story! Jones just didn’t really work in the role.
