Honoring the creator’s hilarious personality and almost like an innocent, Stan Lee was born on December 28, 1922 in New York City. One hundred years, and a brilliant and successful trajectory later, Disney + announces the arrival of a documentary on the life of one of the key figures of Marvel comics.

The American has dedicated 78 years of his life to forging his superhero empire, starting, as we well know, with comics, which then became the blockbusters that encompass the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The legendary writer was the creator of such characters as Spider-Man, Hulk, Thor and many more.

“100 Years of Dreaming. 100 Years of Creation. 100 Years of Stan Lee.
Stan Lee, an original documentary, will premiere in 2023 on #DisneyPlus”.
Since he published his first comic, ‘Captain America Comics’ way back in 1941, Lee didn’t stop working until, sadly, on November 12, 2018, at the age of 95, cardiorespiratory failure put an end to the his career. Four years later, this point is reopened at the hands of Disney +in the absence of more information about this documentary, such as who will direct it, which UCM personalities or actors will participate, or the release date itself.
Congratulations on the centenary
There were many fans and personalities from the world of cinema who wanted to dedicate a few words to Stan Lee. However, There are two that are particularly striking, as they come directly from the current competition. James Gunn, one of the directors of the DC Universe, wanted to take this opportunity to honor Stan Lee, with whom he worked on the direction of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’: “Happy 100th birthday to Stan Lee. We miss you my friend.”. The other DC character who also congratulated Lee was Dwayne Johnson. The Rock shared a photo with the creator on his social networks accompanied by an exciting text: “Happy Heavenly Birthday to my old friend and mentor, Stan Lee […] When I came to Hollywood many years ago, he always supported and encouraged me, which impressed me. Her kindness really touched me. Years later, I was able to thank him.”said the actor in the midst of all the controversy surrounding ‘Black Adam.’
And it is that, although they are competitors, the figure of Lee has been so mythical in the world of comics that DC Comics itself, for which he also worked, has published for free on the DC Universe Infinite platform the first volume that condenses various comics of the ‘Just Imagine’ label, written by Stan Lee between 2001 and 2002, in which he reinvented the origins of various DC characters. As a tribute, they will also release “Tales from Earth-6: A Celebration of Stan Lee,” a new comic featuring some of the collaborators Lee worked with in his DC days.
