American singer Demi Lovato caught the attention of her husband Jordan Lutes after posting a poolside bikini snap on Instagram on Monday.
The 33-year-old pop star, known for hits including Cool for the Summer and Sorry Not Sorry, looked incredible in a white floral string two-piece as she posed by the pool. She captioned the photo collection: "The tan lines will fade but the memories will last forever."
Lutes, a 35-year-old Canadian musician who performs under the name Jutes, commented on the post with a string of red heart face emojis to show his appreciation. Fans also flooded the comments section on the Meta-owned social media platform with praise, writing "Surreal" and "Demi owns summer."

The social media upload featured several photos capturing moments from Lovato's summer. The images included the couple on stage together during a performance, going hiking in nature, and spending quality time with friends. Lovato also posed with a digital camera and shared a grinning selfie alongside a friend during a trail walk.
Songwriting sessions and emotional support
Lovato married Lutes last May after more than two years together. The pair first met in January 2022 during a studio songwriting session, where their initial professional partnership evolved into a close friendship before turning romantic.

In an interview with digital fashion publication Who What Wear, the chart-topping artist explained that her future husband supported her through a period of deep depression following her exit from a treatment facility.
"We became friends before we became lovers," Lovato told Who What Wear. "I opened up to him because I was going through a really rough time when I made Holy F***. I had just come out of treatment, and I was newly sober and raw with my emotions. I had nothing to medicate with."

Lovato credited Lutes with standing by her side during her recovery journey: "He was there for me as a friend, helping me get through this deep depression I was in."
Finding a future in Happy Ending
Lovato revealed that she first sensed a long-term future with Lutes while writing the ballad Happy Ending, a track featured on her eighth studio album, describing it as one of her most vulnerable songs.
"It's probably one of the most vulnerable songs I've ever made," she said. "I didn't know we were going to become lovers. I definitely didn't know that we were going to get married one day. But that was the session that made me feel safe with him."
