Reality television stars Chloe Lewis and Dan Edgar have made their first official public appearance together as a couple at a fashion event in London. The television personalities held hands as they attended a VIP launch bash on Monday night to mark the release of Primark's new autumn winter clothing collection.
Chloe, 35, and Dan, 36, confirmed their romance earlier this month during a holiday to Marbella, Spain. Their public outing in the capital comes after months of speculation about their relationship status.
The couple looked relaxed as they arrived together for the clothing launch. Chloe wore tight black leggings paired with a brown leather jacket that showed off her midriff, while styling her blonde hair in bouncy waves. Dan dressed in a smart black suit for the evening event.
First public appearance as a couple
Rumours surrounding the pair had circulated for most of this year, though both had initially remained coy about their involvement. Although they first met years ago while appearing on the hit ITV reality series The Only Way Is Essex, they did not date at the time.
Chloe and Dan have known each other for many years through television work and the wider Essex social scene. They eventually sparked a romantic connection last June while attending the second wedding of fellow reality stars Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet on the Spanish island of Mallorca.
Following the Mallorca wedding, the pair kept details of their relationship private and only hinted at their status. They were seen together in public for the first time last month during an evening at the Tonic Terrace cocktail venue inside the Hilton Bournemouth hotel on the Dorset coast.
Staff members at the Bournemouth venue photographed the couple and posted the images to the Tonic Terrace Instagram account. The venue captioned the post by writing that it was amazing to have Chloe and Dan visit on Saturday night for cocktails, adding that they hoped the couple would return soon.
During that coastal outing, Chloe wore a white bustier with jeans alongside Dan. More recently, the couple made their relationship public on social media while staying at the five-star El Fuerte hotel in Marbella, where room prices average around £357 per night.
TOWIE history and past relationships
Chloe was a regular cast member on The Only Way Is Essex from 2015 until 2019. She joined the reality series alongside her childhood sweetheart Jake Hall, with whom she had an on-off relationship during her time on screen.
Jake died in May at the age of 35 after falling through a glass door while on holiday in Mallorca. Chloe has since shared her grief publicly regarding the sudden loss of her long-time former partner.
Chloe is also a mother to her six-year-old son, Beau, whom she shares with her former partner Danny Flasher.
Dan has been a core cast member on The Only Way Is Essex for 11 years. Over his decade on television, he has been involved in several prominent relationships filmed for the series.
He previously dated his teenage sweetheart Kate Ferdinand, then known as Kate Wright. He later had a relationship with co-star Amber Turner, who began seeing Dan after ending her relationship with Jamie Reed. Dan was most recently linked to cast member Ella Rae Wise before beginning his current romance with Chloe.
Celebrity guest list in London
The Primark launch event attracted several well-known figures from British television, fashion and entertainment. Former Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh was among the guests, wearing a dark red halterneck top with leather trousers, accessorised with statement earrings and a matching handbag.
Millie posed for photographs at the VIP dinner alongside TV presenter Frankie Bridge, who wore a brown co-ord set for the evening.
Actress Jaime Winstone also attended the launch party in London. The screen star posed for photos upon arrival ahead of her upcoming appearance on Strictly Come Dancing, with the BBC show set to broadcast its first live episode this Saturday night.
Model Anais Gallagher attended in a light grey silk co-ord set and was seen mingling at the dinner with TOWIE star Pete Wicks, who wore a smart suit. Pete was also photographed alongside fashion stylist and influencer Ellis Ranson.
Professional boxer Tommy Fury attended the fashion gathering without his partner Molly-Mae Hague. Other attendees included newlyweds Ruby Wong and Josh Denzel, TikTok personality Sarel Madziya in a tailored outfit, and hip-hop musician Krept, who attended in his role as a brand ambassador for Primark.
