Melanie Martin, fiancee of Aaron Carter, did some last-minute Christmas shopping with her one-year-old son Prince on Thursday afternoon.

Just weeks after her former partner died in his bathtub in Lancaster, California aged just 34, the OnlyFans content creator put on a brave face as she took her baby boy for ice cream at The Grove in Los Angeles.

The model, who dated the late teen idol between 2020 and 2022, wore a brown and black Fendi sweater, jeans and a pair of brown UGG boots.

As she walked through the upscale mall, Martin looked comfortable with several Nordstrom grocery bags in her arms.

Her latest sighting comes after it was announced earlier this month she had regained full custody of her and Carter’s baby.

Prince, born in November 2021, was placed in the care of Melanie’s mother when he was just a few months old and Carter was given supervised visitation rights.

On December 15, TMZ reported that Martin was found fit to care for their child at a hearing in Los Angeles and was awarded full custody.

“I’m honoring Aaron today and I know he would be so proud of me. I’m very emotional when I think about how we could have been a family, but Aaron would be so happy to know I got him back,” she told the outlet.

Aaron’s mother, Jane Schneck, agreed with the decision, adding, “The child needs to be with the mother.”

Prince was removed from Aaron and Melanie’s custody over alleged concerns about drug use and domestic violence during the couple’s on-and-off romance.

This turned into a protracted custody battle, with the couple frequently rekindling and ending their romance.

Carter filed for custody of their son earlier this year and filed a petition for protection of Martin at the Antelope Valley Courthouse in Los Angeles County.

In a lawsuit, he accused his ex of “emotional distress, fear, stabbing and scratching” and claimed she used the threat of suicide to “emotionally abuse” him.

Aaron’s family will hold a private memorial service for the singer in 2023, during which her ashes will be scattered. Melanie said she was invited to the ceremony and still wants Jane to meet Prince after Christmas.
