Times have been good for Patti Hansen – the wife of Keith Richards, who can still wear her wedding dress from more than 30 years ago.
The former model, 66, wore what is now definitely classed as vintage 1980s wedding attire as she celebrated her 39th birthday with the Stones guitarist, who was also celebrating her 79th birthday.
The photo was posted by her daughter Theodora (37), who said: “My parents have been married for 39 years – actually 43 years together, but we discount the legitimacy of their 1983 Cabo marriage,” she says.
“I am so proud of this family. We have been through a lot, but love is so strong and powerful that it carries us forward forever on a cloud of compassion and courage.”

Pippa wins planning battle with neighbours
She is spared the constant attention that accompanies her older sister, the Princess of Wales, at every turn.
But don’t ever assume that Pippa Middleton is going to hang around quietly just because she’s out of the public eye.
I can reveal that Pippa, 39, and her financier husband James Matthews, 47, are celebrating the triumphant end of a years-long battle at the 72-acre Bucklebury Farm Park in Berkshire.
The park’s ‘petting zoo’ was a favorite of a very young Prince George, who was often taken there by his mother when she visited her parents’ home, Bucklebury Manor, a mile or two away.
When Farm Park was launched for £1.5m last year, Pippa and James jumped at it.

Showing characteristic ambition, they wasted no time building an indoor lounge – so little time that they seem to have overlooked the need to apply for planning permission. This was brought to the attention of the local authorities.
A neighbor then contradicted the said intention to reroute a public footpath, noting that the proposed new route was “prone to flooding”, regularly turning the area in question into a “swamp”.
Concerns have been raised that there are no provisions to demarcate the footpath to prevent “potential conflict” between walkers and those visiting the park by car.
But Pippa and James kept their nerve – and were then allowed to sit indoors. And as if to prove it’s Christmas, they’ve also been given the go-ahead to refurbish and extend an existing ‘visitor shed’, as well as build a ‘play shed’ and a large new storage building – plus new toilets and a parking space for 100 persons.
The couple, whose third child Rose was born this year, does not live “above the shop”. I revealed they paid £15m for a Georgian country house less than 20 minutes away this summer.
All was not well for Oscar winner Dame Emma Thompson. Despite being one of the fittest actresses in the country, she insists that wasn’t the case back then: “I mean, there’s a lot [of rejections], of course, when I was younger. “Oh yeah, I’ve had a lot of ‘thanks, but no, you’re not quite right’.”
Steph gives up the shine
Stephanie Beacham, best known for her role as perpetual glamor babe Sable Colby on Dynasty, believes the role finally suited her.
And as a result, she no longer yearns to be the center of glitter on screen.
“I don’t just want to do glamour; it’s boring. I mean, I actually did it in Dynasty,” the 75-year-old actress (pictured as Sable) told me at a charity ball in Manchester.
She’s been in the North West a lot lately playing Martha Fraser, Ken Barlow’s former love interest, in Coronation Street.
“I want to play very interesting older people,” she adds.
“Being known as the glamorous Stephanie Beacham was great, but it can hold you back because you’re typecast.”
Poet Pam Ayres seems a little short on festive cheer, and she shares this year’s literary Christmas gem:
Well Merry Christmas friends you can’t get on the train
Border Force is cracking down so you can’t get on a plane
Nurses on the picket line feel underpaid and disadvantaged
And if you need an ambulance, your wait time may be longer.
No turkey on the table, the bladder has the flu
Here’s a Christmas Sausage, you must
Let’s raise a glass of water with blankets on our knees and drink in the festive cheer as we gently freeze.
Even though it’s been more than four decades since she was a bridesmaid at Charles and Diana’s wedding, this is probably still India Hicks’ defining moment. But the now 55-year-old’s main memory of the 1981 royal wedding is how bad her hair looked. “It was literally the worst hair day, in front of a billion people. A terrible haircut,” says India, who lives in the Bahamas with her husband David Flint Wood and five children. “It’s interesting – part of me is kind of ashamed because it stays with you for life – ‘Oh my god, you were Princess Di’s servant’, and I didn’t deserve that in any way.” And there’s another part of me that says you’re part of a great background – accept it.”
It sounds like Theresa May is quite happy to return to the backbenches in 2019 after serving three years as Prime Minister. The 66-year-old has been a Tory frontbencher since 1999. ‘ the Maidenhead MP told me at a party in London. “It is very satisfying to serve my constituents.” Really very worth it. I reported last month that she made £900,000 for just 63 hours of after-dinner speaking work. Kerchen!

Prime Minister Nick Clegg’s wife, Miriam Gonzalez, said: “When I think about it, when my husband was in government and we had access to this house, we had to deal with endless pompous nonsense from Chevening bosses just because we had little have. children. Karma definitely exists’
It’s karma, says Clegg’s wife
It seems at least one person is happy about the recent allegations of behavior in Chevening in Kent.
Traces of a class A drug were reported to have been found in the government’s mercy house after parties believed to have been attended by MPs, a claim denied by a spokesman for former prime minister Liz Truss.
However, that didn’t stop former Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg’s wife, Miriam Gonzalez, from taking the boot. Chevening bosses only because we had small children. Karma definitely exists,” she snaps. “The first question I got was, ‘Do you have a babysitter?’
