Sharon Osbourne has been released from hospital after suffering a “medical emergency” while filming a new TV show in California on Saturday.

The 70-year-old star’s son, Jack Osbourne, confirmed the news to TMZ, adding that Sharon is now at her home in Los Angeles after doctors said “everything is safe”.

He also revealed to the publication that he and his mother were filming scenes for an upcoming Night Of Terror when the incident happened.

Jack did not share details about Sharon’s health, but noted that she will eventually open up about what happened to her when she is ready.

Hours earlier, TMZ reported that Sharon was in California filming a paranormal TV show near the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula when she suddenly fell ill.

Doctors were called to the tavern for a “medical call” around 6:30 p.m., a Ventura County Department official reportedly told the publication.

Then they transported a patient to Santa Paula Hospital. Sharon was confirmed to TMZ by Santa Paula Police Chief Don Aguilar.

Sharon had never discussed major health issues before.

She was last photographed meeting her son Jack, his fiance Aree Gearhart and their daughter Maple in Los Angeles on December 6, where she looked fine.

But in May 2022, Sharon revealed that she had contracted Covid from her husband Ozzy after she was forced to fly back to Los Angeles to look after him.

The TV personality broke down in tears after confirming she would fly back to the United States from London to help her singer husband, 73.

Sharon was quite worried after Ozzy contracted Covid-19.

It was claimed that Sharon became concerned about Ozzy when he became “paranoid” about contracting Covid after struggling with a series of health issues in recent years.

A source told The Mirror: “Ozzy was very paranoid about getting Covid because of everything he had been through. Now he has it, he’s crazy and he feels awful.

“He heard how Covid was spreading on surfaces and became so paranoid that he sprayed all takeaway food that came into the house with antibacterial treatments outside.”
