Prince Harry and Meghan Markle still have ‘hope’ of ‘healing’ with the royal family (exclusive)

Now, a source close to the couple has EXCLUSIVELY said hollywood life who have “hope” to heal their relationship with the royal family. “They want everyone, including Harry’s family, to understand why they did what they did,” the source shared. “It’s about clarifying how the institution works and why it needs to change, that’s where the focus has always been. The hope is that this message will reach and ultimately lead to the healing of the entire family, including William🇧🇷

They also emphasized that the documentary is not a malicious “attack” on anyone. “This is not an attack on William or the rest of the family,” he added. The Duke of Sussex spoke about the “wedge” that developed between him and his older brother during the second part of the documentary series which premiered on Thursday. When Harry recalled the events that took place inside Sandringham House on 13 January 2020, he revealed that William had raised his voice at him.

“It became very clear very quickly that the goal was not in discussion or debate,” he said of his and Meghan’s relationships with the royal family. “It was terrifying that my brother was screaming and yelling at me, and that my father [King Charles III] saying things that just weren’t true and my grandmother [Queen Elizabeth II] You know, sit in silence and absorb it all.

During the second part of the filing, the father-of-two also said Kensington Palace’s press office had released a joint statement questioning allegations that William “kicked” Harry and Meghan out of the family without the their consent. “I couldn’t believe it. No one had asked me. No one asked me for permission to put my name in such a statement,” said Prince Harry. It was also at this point that Harry reached his limit. “Within four hours, they were happy to lie to protect my brother, but for three years they were never willing to tell the truth to protect us,” he shared.

Eventually, Harry and his wife resigned as Senior Royals at the institution in January 2020. They posted a joint statement via Instagram and revealed their plans to the world. “After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to move on this year to begin carving out a progressive new role within this institution,” the caption began. “We intend to cease being ‘core’ members of the Royal Family and work towards financial independence, whilst continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.”

The Duke and Duchess now reside in Santa Barbara, California as of July 2020. Meghan and her husband wed on May 19, 2018 in a lavish ceremony at Windsor Castle. They are proud parents of two children: Archie Mountbatten-Windsor3, and Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor1. During the final episode, it was also revealed that the director Tyler Perry53, is Lilibet’s godfather.
