This year’s Coachella roster has undergone a major change as it was announced earlier this month that The Weekend will be replacing Sweden House Mafia alongside Sunday night assistant Kanye West.

Rapper West, 44, both considered pop/alternative artists, will lead the annual festival alongside Billie Eilish and Harry Styles, as well as the Swedish House Mafia music group.

Organizers struggled to save the much-anticipated festival after West announced earlier this month that he would no longer be performing.

West would have made the decision to give up the two weekends himself.

According to the report, Travis Scott was going to perform with Kanye, who changed his name to Ye, and will no longer perform.

Scott was selected as the headline at the 2020 festival before it was canceled due to COVID.

It was later rebooked for 2022, but organizers canceled those plans after the Astroworld concert tragedy that killed 10 people.
