Margot Robbie, 32, opened up about the funny opening scenes of the upcoming film Babylon while chatting with Carey Mulligan, 37, on Variety’s Actors on Actors series.
Admitting that she wondered if they would “get away with it” with the beautiful orgy scene, the actress asked: “Can we show it?”

Carey said of the film’s opening sequence that it was “this wild, wild, crazy, wild party.” And there are many people who wear very little or nothing at all.
And Margot agreed wholeheartedly, admitting: “It’s quite a party orgy. It’s going to be some kind of orgy.”
Speaking about the film as a whole, the actress confessed: “When I read the script, I was like, ‘It’s like La Dolce Vita and Wolf of Wall Street had a baby – and I love it! ‘
But I was like, ‘Can we show it? Can we show it?”

“There were so many scenes where I was like, a) I have no idea how to do this and b) can we get away with it?”
And when Carey revealed she saw the film with her mother, Margot joked: Everyone should see Babylon with their parents. It won’t be uncomfortable at all.’
Margot plays a character named Nellie LaRoy alongside Brad Pitt, 58, who plays the character Jack Conrad.
The actress’ dedication shows in this film, as she recently told WSJ. Magazine: “I’ve never worked so hard in my life. [I was] crushed at the end of this alley.”

According to IMDB, Babylon is “a tale of unabashed ambition and outrageous excess, following the rise and fall of various characters during an era of rampant decadence and depravity in early Hollywood.”
The film was written and directed by Damien Chazelle, who won the 2017 Academy Award for Best Director for La La Land.
Babylon opens in US theaters on December 23, with a UK release on January 20, 2023.
