Santa’s naughty list welcomed four new additions on Tuesday, when Coleen Rooney shared a Christmas Identity Parade-themed photo with followers on social media.
Children Kai (13), Klay (9), Kit (6) and four-year-old Cass, dressed in matching red pajamas and lining up for a police-length model card, are pictured with exasperated expressions, arms crossed over their chests.
A playful message emblazoned above their heads reads: “Dear Santa, I can explain…”
The Roo-sual suspects: Santa’s naughty list welcomed four new additions on Tuesday, when Coleen Rooney shared an Identity Parade-themed Christmas photo with social media followers (L-R: Kit, Kai, Cass and Klay Rooney).
The image conjured up images of the iconic promotional art for Bryan Singer’s 1995 neo-noir thriller The Usual Suspects, in which Kevin Spacey and his co-stars line up for a routine identity parade.
Coleen and her family will spend Christmas at their sprawling £20million Cheshire mansion, a purpose-built building that has been unkindly compared to a Morrison supermarket by neighbours.
It will be an opportunity for husband Wayne to spend an extended period with his family after moving to the United States to take up a coaching role at his former club, Washington-based DC United.

After announcing his return to the capital, Wayne said: “When my agent called me and said DC had come in, I spoke to my wife first and she said it was an opportunity to come back as a coach and i’m ready
“If she had said: ‘I don’t want you to go there, it would have been different. I’m in a different place as a person than I was four years ago in Washington, and I’m ready.
“Of course I make all important decisions together with my wife. My family will stay in England for the time being and come to visit. From a family point of view, this is not a problem.

The former footballer has also convinced bosses to let him return home if a Premier League job comes up – to be with his family.
In 2019, Coleen struggled to settle in Washington DC during his year-long stint as a player.
It emerged during her infamous Wagatha-Christie feud earlier this year that she described the city in text messages to Rebekah Vardy in 2018 as “not the best” and “far behind Britain”.
“Nice to visit, but different to live” was her view of America’s historic cradle of democracy.
