A photographer has accused Pip Edwards of staging paparazzi photos and sharing messages from the star telling him when and where she’ll be walking so he can get a “clean shot”.
Leaked Instagram posts show the 42-year-old PE Nation founder invited the Sydney paparazzi to photograph her outside her office in the eastern suburbs in July and took paparazzi-style shots for two of her famous friends last year.
She had previously messaged the same photographer and joked that he made her look “wide”, “short” and “chubby”.
“Come back to my office and take a better picture. No seriously, come on. I want to give you a better one,” she wrote to the snapper on July 10.

“If you want, I’ll come back. You’re in charge,” the paparazzi replied, to which Pip wrote back, “It’s a one-way street! It should work for me too.’
In another post, the Bondi-based fashion designer told the photographer she was stepping out soon and promised him a “clean shot”.
Additional screenshots show Pip complaining that she looks “broad” and “short and stocky” in paparazzi photos in a message sent to him on another occasion last October.
The activewear designer was referring to photos of her walking around Rose Bay with then-boyfriend Michael Clarke, which were actually taken by another photographer.
She then suggested that he take betters from “another angle”.

In another post, the Bondi-based fashion designer told the photographer she was stepping out soon and promised him a “clean shot”.
“Man I like you but you need to make sure I don’t look that big lol,” Pip wrote.
‘How is that possible [in] in the pictures of the other photographers i look normal and here i look short and stocky and broad lol. Come on. Maybe try a new angle please hahaha.’
Then, a few weeks later, on November 28, she contacted the same photographer and asked him for “a favor” – to take paparazzi pictures of her “friends”, TV presenter Darren McMullen and DJ Milly Gattegno, in Bondi Beach to take.
She wanted the snapper to cover McMullen’s Celebrity Apprentice stunt, in which he dressed up as a carrot to stage a pop-up marketing campaign for Subway in the neighborhood.

‘Hi!!! Now I want to ask my friends Milly and Darren a favor lol,” she wrote.
“Darren, dressed as a carrot, does a famous apprentice stunt outside Bondi public bar at 3.30pm.
“Can you just cover it for me lol. Darren needs purple.”
That same day, Pip received a text while smiling and enjoying dinner with McMullen and Gattegno outside Raw Bar, a Japanese restaurant just a few meters away.
When contacted by Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday, Pip insisted that she had never put on a staged paparazzi set and that the paparazzi had leaked the lyrics in retaliation after taking pictures of her at a photo shoot on Monday and also for told him that she had to go.
A few weeks later, on November 28, she contacted the photographer and asked him for “a favor” – to take paparazzi pictures of her “friends,” TV presenter Darren McMullen and DJ Milly Gattegno, in Bondi Beach .

“I want to set the record straight. I am followed daily, weekly with fathers outside my own home and office,” she told Daily Mail Australia.
“Yesterday one of your fathers trespassed on private property and the property manager kicked him out because it was illegal for him to be on the property.
As a result, (he) posted a screenshot of a specific exchange, taken out of context.
When contacted by Daily Mail Australia, Pip insisted she had never put on a staged paparazzi set and that the paparazzi leaked the lyrics in retaliation after they took pictures of her while she was at a photo shoot on Monday and was told to leave
“(He) follows me constantly to the point of madness, he harasses me and asks me where I am going and I never answer. And the only time I know he took a horrible picture of me, I replied to him and said, “At least take a good picture if you’re going to take one.”
“Like many others, I am over the constant harassment of being stalked to have these useless photos create fake headlines for clickbait at my expense. This kind of fake journalism has to stop. This harassment has to stop.”
She said that having the paparazzi photograph her hurt her self-esteem and that she did not want to be photographed at all.
“I hope you consider my truth as I no longer refuse to be reported, false or untrue. I have never taken a picture and wish no pictures had ever been taken,” she said.
“The existence of paps has damaged my self-esteem and is an invasion of our right to privacy. I understand the role they play, but in this particular case they went way too far and it’s a blatant lie.”
The paparazzi, who wished to remain anonymous, told Daily Mail Australia that it was common for reality stars and celebrities to stage “candid” photos to keep themselves in the news.
“Everybody does it. Everyone on reality TV from MAFS to The Bachelor does it. I’ve done lineups with a lot of people,” he said.
“You even have some A-list celebrities like Kim Kardashian doing it to try to control their story in the media.”
